Just found this forum today and looks interesting to me. I am 51 and have a grown child (25) and a 12 year old. Can't wait to see what I find here. I live in Georgia and saw something about a shindig in Savannah in the fall. Anyone know what that is about? Looking forward to meeting y'all. Take care and Have a Good Week.

Welcome Callie. Another from Georgia, huh. I am from Atlanta. I am 53, and I have a daughter 20, and one 11. What a coincidence. Please take the time and complete your profile so that we may get to know you better. Just click on your name, fill in as much or as little as you would like to share with us.

About the trip. We have been having Ladybug Gatherings (we call ourselves Ladybugs) for the past three (3) years. This year's gathering will take place in Savannah sometime in the fall. Details have yet to be determined. We always give specifics in e-mails for safety purposes.

I am very glad that you have come to this board. Please click on our Ladybug Homepage and see how function. We also have a rip-roaring chat on Wednesday nights. That is always a good time.

Hope you decide to come and become a part of this group of wonderful women.

Callie,

I just read your profile. It sounds like you have a full and interesting life. I bet you are challenged with the idea of a middle-schooler at this stage of your life, too, huh? My youngest will start middle school in the fall. Lawrenceville, huh? I am real familiar with L'ville. I have a sister who used to live in Decatur going towards Lawrenceville. I am really looking forard to getting to know you better. I live in SW Atlanta.

Dear Dannie, I find my life to be rather boring most of the time. But I guess that is what life is sometimes. My daughter has adjusted to middle school so well that I can barely believe it. Her 5th grade teacher scared her along with the rest of her class that middle school was horrible and these past 2 years have been great. She had a lot more trouble in elementary school because she is rather unusual. Doesn't seem to fit in as well as some children. But I guess most children around her age have issues with this. (she is trying to read what I write right now)(had to cover it). Thanks for the welcome.
