A new show on PBS

http://www.pbs.org/manorhouse/

A kind of real life Upstairs/Downstairs. It starts in my area Monday April 28th. Nineteen people volunteer to go back to life as it was in 1905 in an English Manor House. Looks interesting to me. KaCee P.S. I took the snob status quiz and scored a 52%, solid middle class, no news to me! LOL!! KC

I've been watching the promos on that. I know it will be much better than the "Survivor" types we have. I always like "Upstairs, Downstairs" too. Kathey

Hi KaCee! I got a 54% so I'm just a bit snobbier than you are, but eating at Cracker Barrel and shopping at WalMart keep me out of the upper levels of society! Just as well I suppose...I've been looking forward to this program and should mark a calendar so we don't miss it, starts the 28th here as well. BTW, did you get the email I sent yesterday? Just wondering if the address I used is good for you. Seren

39% snob here...actually I think that's a little low for me! (I'm just being truthful here)I don't think I'd like living in 1905. And I think I will watch that show. I loved the old Upstairs/Downstairs series.

Hi Seren, Well, we don't have Cracker Barrels up here and I don't shop at Wal-Mart so I don't know what happened. Doesn't matter. I am what I am! Yes, I got your e-mail and responded. Thanks, KC

48% snob here! I don't recall having heard anything about this show. Sounds very interesting to me! Love those 'early' years....not sure I'd have wanted to live them, but love reading about them!

I'll have to read some more about it and see if it will be on our local PBS channel. Thanks for sharing this......

Yes shari, I thought my answers were snobbier than they were! LOL! I wouldn't do well in 1905 either, I love modern bathrooms! I would definetly have to be upper class! Now that sounds snobby! Did you take the questionaire on who would you be in 1905? It is based on your fathers place in society of course. Not good news for me, it said I would be a house servant. Well, it's honest work. Hope you have a good trip just in case I don't see you later.

Thanks Kacee. I can't wait to see it. I have been a 19th century buff since The Forsythe Saga. Now, let's see what reality tv shows us.
