Susie's home..Look out!!.......m

I got home from the hospital around 7:30ish. My DD1 & family stayed and got me dinner and moved some things around in my house to make navigating about a bit easier. Susie's driving a wheelchair now..Look out!! Crrrash!! LOL!! I'm going to have all my furniture banged up trying to get around here. It wants to zig when I want to zag!!

My foot hurts lots, tried different types and combinations of pain killers and Percoset seems to be the most comforting along with a muscle relaxant. My DD1 and Allison are spending the night with me just in case I need help of any kind during the night time.

It hurts!! It doggoned hurts!! Dang it..It Hurts!! Ouch!! Grumble, groan, and stuff like that!!

There, I've always been told that it's better to get your feelings out..LOL!!

Hope you've all been doing well, I won't be posting a lot in these next few weeks. It's just too hard to sit here and type. Will check in as I normally do though. Hope you've all been doing well, staying healthy, happy as little larks or Bugs, and doing whatever makes you smile.

The worst part of this is that all my inner theigh, stomach, and shoulder muscles are *very* sore from the way I have to move around now. Now I need to start lifting my hand weights and try to strengthen them. Does it ever end??!! LOL!!

When I got into the operating room, the doctor came in right after me, they put the knock out juice in me, and I was in la la land. Didn't get a chance to tell him to look up at all the ladybugs flying around. ;o) You did good Ladybugs, everything looks good at this point. Thank you for being there with me.

Okay dearies, time to put this Bug to bed. Will see you tomorrow.....Love, Susie

Hugs,

..

MOM! I was just wondering where you were! So glad to see you here before I go to bed. I will sleep so much better knowing you are home, and especially since your DD is there with you tonight. Take it easy, my sweet and dear friend, and come here whenever you can, but don't push. So glad you are doing so well...Sooooo glad!..Love ya!.....BB

Glad your home, Susie. I had percoset when I had an ovary removed while pregnant with my youngest dd and loved it. When I was in the hospital this last time, I had vicadin and also liked that. Hope you recover fully soon and don't try to overdue.

Glad you are home and that your daughter is there with you. It doesn't hurt to have Allison close by either.

Wheelchairs can be harder to learn than a new two-wheeler but hopefully you will be out of it soon and twisting and rocking to the Wiggles.

Get lots of rest and baby yourself and let everyone else baby you. Kathey

So happy you are home. But sorry that you are hurting.

Take the meds and try to rest. Don't worry about the

furniture, lol, you can always replace it. You can't

replace that foot!! Keep doing well.

Hugs, Fran

It is so very good to know you are home, Susie! Do take extra special care of yourself. Wheel chair navigation is not as 'fun' as it looks on all the TV shows, is it?! Had that fun experience back when my heel and toes were broken in the auto accident! You will you be allowed to 'graduate' to crutches or a walker later won't you?

See you again when you can make it back...

Welcome Home Susie!!! Glad you have a little help and someone to watch over you and little. Sorry the foot hurts so much. Hopefully, this will improve! Did they give you a special driver's license for the wheelchair? Take care of yourself. Hugs Lynda

Good Morning, Susie, so glad to see that you are home. Do hope that you will be able to get the pain managed. I would run down to MB and get you some *fudge* to help comfort you during this recouping time but that would not work with WW. ;o) I do not want to sabatoge your hard work.

Hugs...Pab

Oh, Susie, what a wonderful way for my day to start, to see your post first thing! So glad you are home, sooooooo sorry for the nasty pain!! Geez. I remember when my mother was first in a wheelchair, an electric one natch, but what were we thinking? She had always been a speed demon on the highways, and Lordy, look out for that woman in her chair! Now I know you will be a safe driver once you get the hang of it...LOL I hope you have had a good night. So much love has been aimed in your direction this week, and will still be surrounding you. Dang that pain anyway. Well, every day is a day taking you further away from that. Love and good wishes to you, Susie. Seren
