Took my grandson out for sneakers yesterday. He had been wearing a size 5 and his Mom suggested trying a size 6 1/2. Found the style he liked but couldn't find a size 6 1/2, so I had him try a six and it had some room but he could have used the larger size but we were going to get them anyway. We're leaving the store and I see the same sneakers two aisles over and I stop and look and see a 6 1/2 but they're $10.00 more. I called a salesman over and ask him "what's the story". He than tells me that a 6 is the last size in "kids" and a 6 1/2 in now "mens". We got the larger size and when I took him home to his Mom I said "congratulations, your son just became a man" and that will now cost you more money every time you buy sneakers...they get you coming and going.
Kacee - you asked about the dogs, well they are both doing fine. Lady just had some dental work done and between that and her yearly shots it was over $200.00. Our little Woody just reached 100 LBS but he's still all puppy. I just purchased something from the vet called lawn guard...its a all natural product that is suppose to neutralize waste and protect against lawn burn...we'll see if it works.
Hope - Glad to hear that DH is doing so well and also that your are enjoying your candles.
Francine - Welcome back
Pat - Those darn computers are both a wonder and a big problem sometimes, can imagine how we got along with out them.
Seren - loved your story about DH, his new mower and the dog..men, machines and dogs always a combination that can make for a story.
Dannie-BB - Happy that you both weren't effected by that tornado.
Susie - Glad you're feeling good and that everything went so well. Now hope the apin starts to subside soon.
Janet - Enjoy your vacation.
Well it's a year today since I found the garden and its been quite a year. Having you all to bring my problems too and having your support meant a lot. Sharing everyones life and getting to meet several of the Ladybugs in person was a great experience and I look forward to many more years and meeting more Ladybugs..Hugs to all
