I may be losing it but when I misspell a word or need a capitol inserted after I have written the sentance, I go back and put the cursor where I want it back up and clear the letter and put in what I want. Likwise, when I need to go back and insert a word I put the cursor where I need it and put the word in and all the other words behind it move to the right.....that is what it always has done.....

This morning I went to insert a word and it just typed right over the next word....Is that strange or did I do something wrong? Thanks Janet

Click you Ins (0) button. If you have it one way it will type over; the other way it will insert. Kathey

Whoa, I can't believe I can answer a computer question from Janet, but I can! Janet, that has happened to me when I have accidently hit the "insert" key. Hit it again, and you will stop overwriting your words.

Janet, I want to say also that I hope you have a wonderful vacation! Hope the weather is perfect and you catch more than enough fish! Stay safe and have a great time with your sweet DH.....BB

Oops, I should have read your response first, Kathey. Just told her the same thing you did.

Hope you're having a great weekend. Your Brewers kinda slaughtered our poor Braves last night. If Dannie doesn't speak to you today, you'll know why...LOL!....BB

Thanks Kathey, I just thought that was strange, well Poo it is working like it should now maybe it was a fluke. I don't believe Ihave an Ins button. Ok. Insert.....I knew you didn't mean insurance....lol...

Then how do you back your cursor over text if you want to insert something without having to pick up the mouse and move the cursor?

All this time I have just been going forward and doing things the hard way.....Thanks again.Janet

That's okay BB. I'm still amazed that I could answer a question for Janet. CU later, I'm not feeling great today. Kathey

You can use the backspace but that will delete everything it goes over or you can use the arrow key. Or, you can place the cursor where you want it with the mouse. Kathey

Thanks a bunch......hope you feel better soon...

The doc gave me some ear drops, do you know how hard it is to put 4 drips in each ear? Well, needless to say after I read the instructions it said if it was needed in both ears to put a cotton ball in so it didn't run out.....I had to go wash my neck I had stuff running down from my ears......lol......

I've had those ear drops to desolve wax. Insurance paid for them. I dropped the bottle and asked the doctor for a new prescription. He said insurance wouldn't cover a new prescription for six months and they cost $137.00 for that itty bitty bottle so I never got it refilled. I have had my ears cleaned by the doctor and it is not too bad of a procedure but I prayed the whole time that the doctor wouldn't sneeze. Kathey

Use the <-- or --> arrows to move backwards or forwards over typed data without moving it or deleting it. That way you do not have tuo use your mouse!
