I've done 5 assignments and had a reply back from 1 to say that I'd passed. I do a lot of emailing if I can. Saves paper and ink. I've been to a Refugee forum and sent off the report on it, so thats out of the way. I only have to do another 2 hours of forums and I've done the required 20 hours. So thats another thing out of the way.
DH shampood the family room rug this morning and is now quietly watching soccer on TV...I keep having to remember he is 70 and not as fit as he was.
So, how are things in Bugland? JJ, how is the new baby and the SARS problem? I was going to do the gardening, but its too wet, pity, yes? Yesterday, DH, his BF and I went to a lavender farm and I bought some plants. DH also bought some lavender tea for me. I've tried it this morning and its quite nice. I have a tea-ball to put the loose tea in, but found that my teapot does not have a wide engough neck for me to insert the tea-ball. Guess I will have to find another teapot for my lavender tea...lol...
Today is the last day of the school holiday. Tomorrow, I'm back in the thick of it. One class is not going so well. We are a group of 5 women, and 1 of them is causing us a lot of grief. It is almost like 2 camps and I don't like that. This is the first time I have had any trouble with the group work I've done so far and its quite upsetting. Still, we have to pass this assignment as a group so hope it will all pan out.
Thats about all the news from Down Under, hope all is well with you and that you all had a great Easter. Forgot to tell you, Friday 25th was ANZAC Day, a public holiday. We have a lot of them here, its when we celebrate the Gallipolli landing in 1916(?)...we do not have any ANZAC's living now, the last one died 2002. It is a very moving ceremony with a dawn stand-down, marches, etc. It was great to watch on TV..I'm an eary bird but not That early...
So, ladies, have a great sleep and I'll catch up with you another day, I haven't forgotten you, just sometimes I'm not able to visit.
Take care & TTFN.

Best wishes for the remainer of your school term and especially your group work.
Hugs...Pab

I have several friends in OZ, so I try to keep abreast of what's happening down under. Like you, we have had draught but for us the long, hard, snowy winter and wet, rainy spring seem to have taken care of the problem.
You know what they say about one bad apple spoiling the whole bunch? It's so true! I had a situation similar to your group years ago when I was working on my MA. Unfortuntely some of us spoke up and it only made matters worse. Thankfully these things come to an end one way or another. Good luck!
Bye for now.

PS Hmmm! It's that time again for my DH, too ... time to shampoo the family room carpet. ;-)
Let's see this is your fall, right? And you have lavender now? We have it in late spring/summer. There are fields about an hour away from here that are lovely. I have a great picture of them that I intend to but on my webpage as soon as our scanner is working.I have lavender spray that I use on our bed linens. I swear it helps me sleep, I put some lavender oil on a tissue in my pillowcase.
What does ANZAK stand for?
Good luck with your studies. KaCee

The dog on my lap is a chuhauhua...who thinks he's in charge. He has our other other male dog, a bitzer who is 3 times his weight, 6KG as against 2KG, into thinking he's the boss. The other dog is an old, old female (18) and she lets him know what is what!!!...
Take care, nice to hear from you.
Have a great day..
