Good Sunday Morning Ladies

Well it finally did stop raining and we are suppose to have a very nice day today, although from the looks of things right this minute..it looks questionable.

Of course I picked yesterday morning to go out and run some errands and do shopping and I'll tell you it was nasty out there. Of course I also needed to get gas and around here most stations are self service. There I was with the rain blowing all over me and thinking...sure you couldn't do this yesterday when it was nice, when will I learn.

I came home and decided to start cleaning out closets...what I'd really like to do is get one of those dumpsters (like they do when they're working on your house)..it would be so much easier. I've vowed to throw something out every garbage day until I've gotten rid of all unnecessary "junk". I've also started packing up all the cloths I want to donate to the church...this will be the year I get rid of it for sure. At least my intensions are good right now, I just have to stay focused.

Wishing you all a great Sunday...

Val

Good Morning Val, good to hear that your rain is over...hopefully. I thought ours was and then we had a little thunderstorm late yesterday afternoon. I am digging out my hall closet. I am sorting through each box seeing if I can condense them. Makes me feel so good when a trash bag goes out. Yesterday had DS haul one out and I have another almost ready to go plus two empty boxes. When I get this closet finished, my next task will be to sort through my clothes too. Keep up the good work...

Doing the 27-Fling Boogie? Great job, Val!

It's a good feeling when you finally *see* what's in a closet and know what you've got is actually wearable and usable. Ours is like that now ... after much flinging, rethinking, and flinging again.

I plan to do this at the change of each season in hopes things will never get out of control again.

The sun is struggling to shine here, too, but yesterday was so bleak! The around town jaunts were okay, but we drove into Boston for Symphony and a fund raiser last night and it wasn't pleaseant to drive or walk throught the wind-swept rain!

Think sun!

Val- way to go with the dejunking. We do accumulate stuff. I am in the process of discarding all photos. DH suggested I send them back to the person in the picuture. Good idea since I have a lot of baby and children's pictures from cousins. They might want to have them. DS' I will give to him, and he can decide which he wants. There are , of course, some I will keep.

Hope...my DM did this a few years ago with her pictures. She fixed up four boxes for my DBs and myself and presented them to us. She sent the baby, graduation and wedding pictures of family members and friends back to them. She just kept the pictures that had real meaning for them.

Good Luck on your picture sorting.

Hi Val. Good luck on getting everything cleared out. I've never seen so many of us continually trying to get rid of stuff. lol The weather here is just great today. I'm trying to get rid of all the nasty trees that are popping up from the acrons. I'll never get done. Have a good Sunday. Hugs

The sun is shining here Val. Was in a Yankee Candle shop yesterday and thought of you! I can"t remember when I was last in a gas station where they pumped your gas! Probably in Oregon as there are no self service stations there, they are all full service, you cannot pump your own gas in Oregon. Funny. Good luck with the closet cleaning that seems to be something that is epidemic in the garden right now! KaCee

Poof!!! I'm gone!!
