Wanted to try and catch up on the posts at least for yesterday and today but it's not gonner happen. How come these lovely days seem to fly by and the rainny ones are a week long?
Yesterday I worked out in the yard..had to divide and more some hostas, trim some shrubs and planted a new rose bush. Then I decided to take some time off and my sister & I went to Barnes & Noble for coffee break.
Pick up two new CDS the Dixie Chicks "Home" and The Very Best of Cher.
After that we stopped at a nursery near her and I bought two plants called Angel Mist, have also seen them called Angelica..I love them because they're drought tolerant, grow tall and fill out and need no deadheading or trimming..my kind of flower. The flower is almost like a mini snapdragon. Also planted some sunscape daisys. Trying to be conservative and patient and wait for the perennials to come up...so I don't overdo.
Going to walk and then work out in the yard a little and then I have to go to the dentist at 2:00, usually go first thing in the morning but I made this appointment when we were in the middle of monsoon season when I couldn't imagine ever working in the yard again and I was looking for blueprints for a ark. Its just a reminder that things do get better if you wait long enough...
My brother is coming over for dinner tonight and I haven't decided what to make..its his birthday this week...I'll have to pick him up a little cake.
Well time is fleeting..hope everyone is getting their share of sunshine.

Val, I just read what you said to Jonsie about her situation with her SO's son. Such wise words you offered her, very wise.
Have a great day, and we'll see ya later! I am off for a walk too in just a bit.....BB
I love reading "garden threads". It will be a while before we'll be doing much in our garden. There won't be lots of new planting this year either ... too much work on the exterior of the house and workmen and their gear would make gardening safely almost impossible. Sigh! Next year? Hope so!
Enjoy the sunshine.

Enjoy the sun today. It makes me feel so good and warm when the day is like today is going to be.
