support. Good news is that I didn't have a full blown toothache. The antibiotic must have helped because there is almost no discomfort today . I have a 12noon appt. with the denttist. Yesterday afternoon, I went to a street fair near here. Lots of food vendors, entertainers (loved the man on stilts and the calypso singers/dancers, and crafters. Signed up for weekly delivery of a box of organic vegetables and fruits from an upstate farm. Avoided most of the food stands, BUT couldn't resist the Caribbean stand. I had a conch fritter which was delicious. The woman fried it crisp on the outside and soft inside (chewed it just on one side of my mouth lol). She served it with apple sauce. Now hear this- she mixed her sauce of onions, red peppers, cilantro with the apple sauce. IShe told she chops the onions, peppers and cilantro very fine, and then puts about one teaspoon in a jar of natural apple sauce. I can just imagine that on pork cutlets too.

Well I couldn't go out and explore the local foods on my trip, but I did get to eat the conch fritters and only three blocks from my place.

I must try that with applesauce because I don't care what brand you buy, even generic, all applesauce taste the same.

I'm glad the tooth isn't giving you too much pain and hope the dentist takes it all away. CU later. Kathey

Hope,I am glad that you are feeling better. As soon as your dentist's visit is over, you should feek much better.

That street festival sounds great. I think I am really getting into Caribbean foods. We should be having a festival here with that type of cuisine featured soon.

Take care.
