It's Monday...

Now that I have your attention. I am sitting here waiting for files to come in. It doesn't look as if there is going to be much to do today. I suppose I should be grateful because of the work I did this weekend. If nothng comes in soon, I just may go back to bed for awhile.

May is going to be very busy for us. Shelby has two performances with the Honor Chorus, then she is in her school's production of the "The Wiz". My nephew and his fiancee are graduating from college. (She is in a dual-degree program and has two graduation ceremonies). Then there is the Honor Chorus banquet. Then Shelby has her promotional exercise from 5th grade, followed by a bowling party. (There are other activities, but I don't think that I have to go to all of them). Whew! I'm tired, and May isn't even here yet. I am thinking of running away from home.

Anyway, does anyone else face a super busy/super fun summer? If so, let's compare notes.

Have a great day,Ladybugs.

Hugs,

Dannie

Mercy, Dannie, I'm having sympathy exhaustion for you! How do you do it? I remember when both my girls were involved in all that stuff, and springtime was so crazy. I enjoyed it all, but was always kinda frazzled! It never occurred to me to run away, but that isn't a bad idea sometimes LOL. I'm within running distance for you, so keep me in mind! What do we have planned for the summer?? Geez, plans?? Summer just seems to descend on us and DH and I just hang on until peace (empty nest!)returns. Not that we don't absolutely relish it! DD1 will be here for about a week or 10 days, then she's off to her job. DD2 will come in mid-June, followed in July by "pink-cheeked boyfriend". In addition to Maggie and Kit, we will have 2 additional pets visiting for the summer: Doc (11 year old male cat) and Isabella (year old female cat). For a week in August, both girls may be here at the same time. Plans?? haha So if you want to run away anytime soon, come on over! You would be very welcome in the summer as well, however...would my place be any calmer than yours? :o) Seren

Hi, Dannie

Oh, yes! Spring and summer seem to bring a round of activities: showers, weddings, graduation parties. Just the opportunity to fire up the old gas grill seems to spark impromptu get-togethers.

Enjoy! Enjoy! Enjoy!
