Let's see if I can get something posted.

Finally heard from my gypsy child #2 this morning, and it's good to know she is safely back in her dorm, and classes have resumed. What a time she had returning from Ireland though. Just one transportation snafu after another, until she finally made it as far as the dorm of the girlfriend with whom she was traveling, and just went to sleep on the floor there at 3 am. Then got up early this morning, made it on to her dorm across the city, washed her face, ate something, and left for classes in the same clothes she had travelled and slept in. She felt pretty nasty, but had only gotten 7 hours sleep in two days, and didn't want to miss the first classes after her break. She walked into one of her classes and there was a man starring at her. She had to walk by him to get to a seat, and he asked if she is from Tufts. She answered that that is where she normally is in school (duh, it was on her sweatshirt), and it turns out he is a Tufts grad and a professor at the University where she is in London. He asked how the school is these days or something, a bit of conversation, and she said she felt so bad that his contact with his old alma mater was a grubby girl in rumpled clothes, with dark circles under her eyes and tangled hair. LOL He must wonder what sort of students Tufts is producing these days. When we spoke she was having trouble putting her words together, so I imagine she is sleeping very soundly right now! I will be so happy to have her home this summer.
Got a few errands handled, some sympathy cards bought that I need to write and mail, put in a brief appearance at the office, and made it to the grocery store. Now I'm determined to put in a good day's work tomorrow, and get some important personal notes into the mail, and a gift off to our nephew who is freshly back from Iraq! But for today, I'm pooped. My shoulder (I'm whining now!) is still hurting. Lots of things I can do with no problem, but reaching to turn the key in the car ignition is murder. Folding towels is a challenge. Vacuuming is out. Easy things to do are: talk on the phone, type on the computer, hold a good book to read, pet Maggie...all the things I like to do anyway. LOL Funny how that works out...
Hope all Bugs are having a good start to a new week. Seems like there is a lot of great weather these days. Stay safe and happy. Seren

Glad you heard from you DD. Now you can rest a bit easier. I hope she does too. Kathey
Hope Seren and Kathey have a nice night or day now...
