Just spent the beter part of a half hour looking for DH's keys...We have a place on the fridge where we always hang our keys, but lately he's been putting them in odd places. Since my brother was here last night his first reaction is "call your brother, maybe he took them by mistake." He went out to walk the dogs and I continued to look and found them on a hook in the closet where he hangs the dog's leashes...He's done that before.

Yesterday was so nice and today looks like more of the same. As I said my brother came over for dinner and we had a nice dinner and visit.

Got some great news yesterday...my daughter found an apartment...Yipee and its in the same area where she's been living. Its in a two family house on a block with a lot of kids who go to the same school my grandson does. It had a big back yard, really sunny with lots of room and she told me Mom I know you'll just want to plant flowers & stuff.

Tney'll be moving in June 1st...love them both very much but was not looking forward to having them move back in with me...

Have to take my car in for inspection this morning and DH and I are going to breakfast...if we hadn't found his keys I think I would have told him to forget it..he gets in such a state when things like this happen...like its a plot or something.

Had two call backs from contractors yesterday about doing work outside..one is coming today and the other one is coming Friday. Two calls back out of three..not too bad

After breakfast plan to work in the yard again..there's so much to do but it's the kinds of work I love doing.

BB - Good grief a earthquake..last week it was Kacee..seems to be working its way east, hope its doesn't come here.

Lanie - I think you just wanted to see if we really pay "attention" to posts (lol)

Susie - Happy to see you are your usual upbeat, positive self. Keep getting better.

Sent a email to Sharon, told her we were wondering about her. Heard back from her..usual stress but other wise ok.

Hope everyone has a wonderful day

Val

Good morning, Val, you sound chipper this morning.

Where would these men be without us? Glad you found the keys. My DH is the same way when he misplaces something, blaming the rest of us, because he COULDN'T have misplaced anything, dotcha know!...LOL!

Good news about your DD!

Have a wonderful day, Val.....BB

Hi Val. My DH can loose a set of keys quicker than you can blink. If the car has multiple sets he will loose everyone of them. The new keys with 'clickers' are very expensive to loose too. The other day he had some work done on his car and had a loaner for overnight. The next morning we started a frantic search for the keys that lasted for at least 3 hours unsuccessfully. He had to go back to the dealership and get the second set and bring the car back with out those keys. He is certain he left them in the car and immediately thought one of the grand naughties surely must have taken them. But they didn't and we never found those keys. It is a mystery. I wish I could get paid for all the time I have spent looking for his keys. Often he finds them in his pocket.

Have a great day. MM

You know, Val, I don't think we women are given the credit for just how versatile we are! Sounds like you backtracked DH's movements to find those keys! lol Same thing happens here in this house. My DH was a detective in his other life and was very good at it. It amazes me that he can't find his "own" stuff by checking out the clues! I think husbands turn us into their moms. lol

Good news about your daughter. You will all be happy with that arrangement.

I want whatever you take for that energy you seem to have.

Enjoy the day.

Lanie

At least now when DH can't find his keys you can look for the dog leash first. They have beepers to find your remote, to find your telephone, they should have one to find your keys.

Enjoy your breakfast and the rest of your day. Kathey
