Atlanta Gets Off to a Shaky Start

I was sleeping peacefully this morning when Tami, who was up using the 'puter, woke me up. She grabbed me and shook me as hard as the quake itself would have. "Mama! The house is shaking!" I went into my mom's room and asked her, and she said she thought that a large vehicle had passed the house.

What a weird feeling! Not much on the news yet, but apparently it could be felt as far north as Ohio.

Let's hope that things settle down here.

Hugs,

Dannie

Oh Dannie, that is weird. Now I have to turn on the t.v. It must have been something pretty big!

As for Tami having to shake you, I truly believe it!!! I have seen you sleeping you know, and realize what a deep sleep you get into! lololololol

Dannie, must have been an earthquake in Alabama. How scarey.

Lanie,

I once fell asleep at a rock concert! It was one of those loud, very bad bands, and my date was truly amazed when I just dozed off. I hope that I didn't snore louder than the band. How humiliating that would be!

I've had the news on for a couple hours and haven't heard anthing about your area. But we have even had tremors here in WI so it is likely you had one. I hope that's the end of the earth-shattering for you. Kathey

Dannie, you are truly a kindred spirit! Another person who can fall asleep in the middle of a concert..LOL I remember waking up early this morning, but I thought it was a rain storm hahaha! hmmm it's not damp outside, maybe I was quaking and didn't know it. There was another earthquake a year or so ago here, epicenter about 30 miles west of this one, and it was a wild ride. We thought a plant had exploded. Well, hang on tight in case we get aftershocks!
