Watched the second part of "Manor House." I think it's interesting how the "Lord" of the house is really getting into this! Anyone else notice a change in attitude? A kind of snobby arrogance is raising it's ugly head? Also think it's interesting how the young people are really having a hard time understanding people just weren't treated fairly in those days. Now comes the juicy part....a sex scandal in the "downstairs"!!!! I kind of wish they would go into the dishes and food they served then...let's face it, we Ladybugs always like to hear about food!

Need to do some laundry. This time of year it's dig out a few cooler tops for a couple of days, then it's back to a warm sweater.

My mini-iris are in full bloom right now. Love them, they're so cute!

Will check back later.........TJ

Uh huh, uh huh! Yes, I do notice the old lord and master thinks all is well in his little kingdom! And I'm finding it interesting to watch contemporary people, and different generations at that, handling the "old ways". Kt mentioned in another post that she got disgusted with them, and I can imagine that, Kt!! LOL but I find it really a part of the show that makes me think about how we are all such a product of not only our personalities, but also our times, and well, so much. I can't express what I mean, but I think it's what makes the show especially intriguing. It's not a game, but it *is* a game. Some of the problems arise from that very quandary. OK, I must tell myself now, it is *only* a TV show, it is *only* a TV show...!!! LOL And yes, too, I would like to see so much more detail. That chef is so perfect. Where did they find that guy? He cracks me up. But, Lordy, would you want to eat the meat after you know it sits around a few days?? Also, could you believe the Lady hadn't even ever visited downstairs to check it out? I mean she could have made an appointment and gone to inspect it. Wasn't she curious? OK, *only a TV show...* LOL an impassioned Seren
