in my look at the world or if my reaction is normal.

In our newspaper today, there was a heading "Recouping taxes on inflated profits". It is referring to several big companies which are under investigation for accounting irregularities. These companies, such as Enron, WorldCom, Qwest Communications and HealthSouth Corp, are seeking to recoup federal taxes they overpaid based on profits they inflated.

Now is this mad? The CEOs of these companies have made so, so much money by betraying their workers, stock holders and customers. They are greedy, evil people in my mind.

Oh poop! I'm going to watch T-ball practice with the 6 year old grand and stick my head in the sand.

Morning Lanie, Now I agree with the large business being "weasels" but they all are like that if you really think about it..

About sticking your head in the sand concerning the T ball "Don't" just stand there and "Smile", because the grand will surely be checking on that Smile you will have on the face...

YOU have a Beautiful Day... wren

Hi Lanie. I totally agree with you. How dare those weasles try to recoup the money!!!! We just cam home from DGS's first BB game. They don't do t-ball down here. It's coach pitched. They lost, but it was funny. Justin decided that if ran around the bases twice they would get more runs. rofl. Enjoy your weekend. Hugs Lynda

Isn't it funny watching those kids? And they are so serious! It is a shame they have to grow up to be big people.

Ok, you are not jaded. You are Sardonyx or Peridot.

This week the school board voted to cut the school budget for next year. This means lose of jobs for teachers, teachers' aides, sports personnel, and probably hot lunch. At the same meeting, they voted themselves a raise.

They are getting by with crime on all levels; but you or I should not get our taxes in until April 16 and they have the dogs out for us. Kathey
