KT & Francine..thanks! My post was NOT here, but it is now! Will I EVER get used to this new format? Not if I don't start spending more time here!!!

Got a call to come in for a second "interview" with that Law Office. The other Legal Aid Assistants will be interviewing me this time, since "we are the one's that will have to work with you"! LOL! Should THAT tell me something or what?? Anyway, it is Monday morn- ing at 10:30 AM. Will keep you posted! Groan!!

Rick just got home from picking up lumber to make the frame for my new deck. I am so excited!! The house is coming along nicely. So much we want to do, but just can do a little at a time. Patience is not one of my virtues!!! It's fun to see things happening though!

Sound as though you are enjoying your weekend. Good! Now off to look for info about this Savannah thing! WHATEVER did I miss???????

Love you guys!

Sharon

Hi Sharon, good luck on the next interview. It is a good sign when they call you for a second one but if it still doesn't work out there are others out there for you.

I'm not going to Sahvanah (sign) but I think BB has a post under Announcements about it.

Hello Sharon! Good to see you this Saturday! Now, listen to me, Miss Sharon! You are not to be intimidated by anybody on this interview! You know all kinds of people can be snippy, and some people are extra good at making you doubt yourself...but just remember, *that* may be their only talent! LOL I'm hoping that this will all result in whatever is good for you at this point in your life, if not this particular job then another. But, don't let yourself even think of being intimidated by anybody, lawyer, assistants, coffee fetcher, anybody. They are just people. If it's a good place to work, I hope you get an offer.

Hey, we were looking at the hardware store ads yesterday and got to talking about repairing/replacing our deck. Thinking about using the new composite stuff, costs more, but our wooden deck can only last so long. Will you do all the labor yourselves? We always do, which is to say, DH is lucky if either a male exchange student or a boyfriend to one of our DDs, is available to help! It's pretty slow going with DH and/or me, and/or the DDs as helpers! But we are such cheap labor we are irresistable! I'm working on my bedroom right now, though, so don't think I need to concern myself with too much deck talk at this point.

Hope you are enjoying your free time to the max! Seren
