I know my left knee replacement surgery was a huge success with a speedy recovery because of all your thoughts, prayers and cards. Friday I was released from homebound status. What a treat. I can go out in the world. So, today, I dressed and went to the car ... click, click ... and again ... click, click. Oh well, as I was turning to get out decided to give it one more try ... click, click. We all know that sound. Called road assistance. He came and turned the key ... purr, purr. Grrr! Unreal!

Did make my first trip out to my favorite coffee stop. Formulating my list of places to go this coming week. Haircut is a must!

The support team is all in place. Have a new agency for homemaker service. I guess the old one got tired of me (the office is so poorly run. Unfortunately, I'm not the only one having problems. The owner will "get it" one day) and decided they couldn't meet my needs. The new one is bending over backwards and is more a mom & pop operation.

Gave my girlfriend (Elaine aka Cinnamon) a surprise birthday party this past week. I felt so good that she was truly surprised and I could do something for someone who is "on call" for me anytime. Plus I am glad I know home delivery services. The sub and wings were delicious.

The Garden looks well tended. Sure is nice to see familiar names and new ones too. I still feel this board is harder to navigate. CU at chat! Later. Hugs, Just Judy

Congratulations Judy on being released from homebound status. Enjoy being able to get out and about, but do take it easy, don't want you out there like you are running in one of these horse races. ;o)

Hugs...Pab

What a nice time (spring) to get released from the housebound status. I wish you sunny days and no more car click, clicks. Kathey

I think that the prayers that come from the bugs in the garden do wonders.

Happy all went well with your surgery and that you're out and about again. Yes, this board does take a little more time to get around but what can you do...its progress they say.

Hi, Judy

It's good to read your happy news! There's nothing like regaining your mobility ... AND you wheels!

Even though I am used to the new board format, I still feel it's inferior in terms of ease as compared to the old format. I always choose the *today* option so I know I miss anything that was posted late yesterday after I went off line. But I find it easier to deal with posts n smaller numbers. Works for me.

Have a great day.

Francine

PS I'm glad the party was a surprise! Nice!

Well, I am glad that you are getting out and about, Judy. It seems that things are working very well for you. Glad that you found the new agency and it sounds like it better suits your needs.

Cars always refuse to behave for the owner, but they are very good when the mechanic comes around. I mechanic told me that once. They know what is going on.

Glad that you were able to give the party for your friend. That was sweet of you.

Good to see you here,

Dannie

JJ- so glad you are not homebound any longer. It can be a drag. Funny about the car- maybe he/she was angry for having been ignored so long. LOL Who's to say machines can't "feel." All kidding aside I am truly happy your surgery went so well.
