Good Sunday Morning

Things in the garden seem to be humming along nicely...

By the time we got the boys home yesterday, half the day was past so I decided to go shopping.

Today will be a mix of things, little shopping, little yard work and start off with a little exercise.

DD#1 called last night, we are having a "problem" with our baseball coach. This is the same guy from last year however his attitude has changed and he is yelling at the kids.

Making statements like...if you can't concentrate on baseball for the hour and a half you are here, then don't bother coming. Now the other night was the first game and DH and I didn't make yesterday's game. She called to speak with DH and get his input but he was already in bed. When I told DH this morning..his reactions were all over the place from...how dare he yell at these kids...to well some guys yell..to this guy must be having personal problems. I know all these things are first reactions and he'll give her good advice when he speaks to her. These kids are only 9 and 10..give me a break, its suppose to be fun.

DH has however planned to be at the practice today and will be sure to make the game tomorrow night. Will be interesting to see what happens as DH is not shy about speaking up in any situation.

Well I hope everyone have a nice Sunday...

Val, I agree. The coach shouldn't be yelling at the kids.

Its supposed to be fun, and a learning experience. Dh and I

coached and played ball for a lot of years back when we we

much younger. If the kids aren't having fun, why would they

want to come back? I'm sure you and your dh will have the

right response to this matter. Good luck.

Good Morning, Val

Your DD is fortunate to have you both so close by for support! You are good grandparents, too!

Enjoy your full and busy day!
