Thought I had better report from my part

of the midwest. We are in southwest MO. At my house we didn't get anything but some really dark clouds and high winds. My ddil, who lives in our same town called and said she watched a funnel go right past their house. But our neighboring town (just almost considered a part of our town) and several others all within a thirty minute drive suffered a lot of loss. A member of our church has lost her sister and brother in law and one family who were members until recently had their beautiful new home leveled, but they escaped just in time. Another nearby town is almost completely wiped out as far as buildings go. They are reporting 3 deaths so far, but still going through rubble. Southeast Kansas got it really bad too. I don't think Susie's area was hit too badly, but I can't be absolutely sure. And I didn't see anything about Janet's or Blu's area. Our church and the local high school has set up refuge for the ones who were left with no homes. It jsut kind of skipped around and would hit one town really hard and not even touch others (like ours). I knew you would be wondering so thought I would let you know.--Pat

Thanks for letting us know....

I have never experienced a tornado but I have heard enough about them to know their path is most unusual and destructive. I’m glad to know you are well and safe.
Many blessings!

The storms were amazing! We just got wind and some
rain here in central Ohio. But the season is just
starting.
Stay safe,
