I am very thankful for that too!! I would not be able to get down my basement now and that would make tornado warnings extra scary. I haven't seen the devastation on tv yet in the areas that have been hit with bad storms, but it sounds like from reading some of your posts that some areas got hit really badly. Awful!!

My day is same ol' same ol' with bath gal coming this morning and then PT gal after that. Looks like I'll only be having them another week and a half and that's it. Darn insurance!!

The reason is that I'm doing such a good job of getting stronger so the PT person won't be able to keep coming, and the bath aid can only come if there's a PT person coming too. Darn insurance!! I like getting stronger though. :o)

I haven't eaten lunch yet, wasn't hungry; so I guess I should go in and take care of that now since it's almost dinner time. The tv is calling my name again too. I've been watching wayyyyy too much tv since my surgery!!

Hope you're all doing well. Enjoy the rest of your day....Hugs, Susie

So happy to hear from you Susie. As far as watching too much tv, we really didn't expect you to be out dancing on the tabletops...save that for Sept...lol

Susie, I am so glad that you are safe & sound. Glad you are feeling better. As far as losing the PT & aide, you're right. That means you are getting better & that's what is the best. Have to get in shape for all your comings & goings this summer & fall. Stay well, & what the heck watch the TV. Lately tho' I've been finding the radio somewhat more soothing. hugs, dee

They are talking about your area on the TV right now. Thank goodness you weren't hit. The other day, suggestions on what to do in case you don't have a basement were given on TV--go into a closet, under a bed or table, etc. They never mentioned help for people in a wheelchair, or bed-ridden. I think I will contact the station and complain.

Did you contact Robert about taking over as your personal PI and bath aide? He doesn't need the money so if insurance doesn't cover him, so what!!!

Hi Susie. Good to hear that you're getting stronger. Well, as everyone on the Board says, don't get us started with insurance. It is a shame you can't continue with the PT and bath person. Also, great you didn't have any bad storms. Just be very careful. Hugs Lynda
