to me while in FL. When I boarded the shuttle to the Orlando Airport, a lady and I got into a conversation. When she asked me where I was headed, I told her that I was going to DE. Then I told her that I had been visiting my step-father, because my DM had passed away in Feb. She then said, "Was your mother's name Alma?" I said, "yes". She said, "I'm the ICU operator at the Florida Atlantic Hospital, and I'm the one you talked to several times a day when you were calling from DE!" She then told me that she cried when she had heard that my DM had passed away a few days after she was moved out of ICU. We proceeded to hug each other. Complete strangers, yet we had a common bond.

I just wanted to share that story. Thanks for letting me.

I'm glad you did share that story, Shari. With so much bad we hear about airports and flights, that was very heartwarming. Kathey

Shari, what a wonderful thing to happen.

The odds of it are amazing. You both came

away with good memories and comforted each

other.

Hugs,

Fran

Your story gave me chills. Aren't you glad that your mother was cared for by such a loving person. You two were meant to meet.

Oh Shari, that was such a nice thing to happen to you. I recall when my mother died how happy it made me to have a business associate write to me to say how much she enjoyed dealing with my mom.

Those encounters are so important to our healing. I'm so glad it happened to you. What a small world, and that lady took care of your mom. How sweet.
