So happy to have my cast on!! This is my very first cast ever in my life and it's such a pretty one at that..LOL!! They didn't have green, the cast company stopped making green. Dang!! Most of the colors are yucky!! My DD1 picked out a medium shade of denim blue for me. Looks good!! :o))
Doctor said my foot looks good, just the way he wants it to look. I'll have my cast on for four weeks and cannot put weight on it yet. Then when I go back in four weeks, I'll get my walking cast on for six more weeks. After that, look out!! Wiggles, here comes Susie..LOL!!
The sun came out this afternoon and all my ouchies went away. So it's a gooder day after all!
Hope you're all doing well today. I'm going to eat something now, skipped lunch because I wasn't hungry. See you later.
~~~Hugs, Susie
The sun is still hiding in SE MA. It's cold and rainy. A good night for sleeping.
Bye for now.
When the itches down inside that cast begin, find yourself a long straw to reach them! The layers of dead skin that will need to be scrubbed off when that cast comes off will be thick - so be prepared!! Probably more than you wanted to think about just yet, eh?!!
Happy healing, kiddo!
You are loved ~~ far more than you may ever know!
This is good news my friend! As they say or used to say at Alcoa(?) : Progress is our most important product...
Glad you got your cast. I have a rubber stamp of a ladybug. You need to stamp it all over as signatures from all of us.
I have never had a cast either(knock wood), but my son had several. Take care of yourself.
Glad to see that your progressing and things are going well. So by September you should be up to dancing..right.
Enjoy the sun.
