to hear what is going on in my backyard! DH just came home and is all set to mow the back yard on his new pride and joy: the riding lawn mower! Now I've told you how Maggie rides with him. So right now, he's out there talking to her. He calls it his "lawn motor", and he's talking ridiculous baby talk to the dog..He has no idea how loudly he's talking! So funny! Ho, now they are off! I have got to buy some film for my camera. Who's funnier: the silly man or the silly dog? Lord, this is what my life has come down to, living with two of the silliest creatures ever dreamed up by a God with a sense of humor for sure!

Today is a dry day, not particularly sunny, but it's as good as it's been here for a week. I'm feeling kinda lazy, maybe it's this muggy weather! Yeah, that's my story. I need to get a couple more cards off to people who have lost moms and wives in the last week. Seems I've been doing a bit of that lately. My two gypsy DDs are far from home this weekend, but I *expect* to hear from them, or they're both gonna be in the doghouse when I *do* catch up to them! Since I hear from them every 2 or 3 days anyway, it's not as though there's usually a lot to catch up on, but I love to hear from them anyway.

Hope everyone has a very pleasant and sunny weekend! Seren

Seren, we need a picture of Maggie on that mower! Must be so cute. No way am I letting Anna ride on my lap when I mow! I know that they warn against it now but my kids have the best memories of riding the lawnmower with their Grandfather when they were young. I hope you hear from your DD's tomorrow and remember "Survivor" is on tomorrow! Have a nice day! KaCee

Poof!!! I'm gone!!

He needs a little lawn trailer to pull behind the mower for the dog to ride. You need to take full advantage of his love for this new tool for it probably won't last. : )

Hi Seren. It's so nice to be back and in my computer chair reading all of the messages. It sounds as though you've had a few laughs at the expense of your silly DH and DDog - lol. Men can be soooo sillly sometimes, can't they. Anyway, I enjoyed your story :).

My out of town children called me today and one sent flowers (son). My DD is sending me a pizza for supper tomorrow from our (hers and mine) favourite restaurant. the others will pop over tomorrow with the grands so it should be a nice day.

Enjoy your Mom's Day.
