Sounds like everyone had a very nice Mothers Day.

I not only heard from my own kids but from my step-kids as well. Got flowers, plants, cards and an lovely little angel. Its nice when they all remember you thoughtfully and for a day all the worrying, being there for them etc, doesn't seem like much.

Spent the afternoon with DD1 and my grandson Remy, we took a ride to Starbucks and had coffee and some of there low far apple coffee cake...its really very good and so moist.

Then we took a ride over to her new apartment so she could show me around. Its really so very large and the yard is lovely and the way the owners have set it up each tenarnt has there own patio section on opposite side of the two car garage giving them privacy.

We talked about how we can do some plantings around the patio area, which I will look forward to helping with. They will start moving in probably the end of May. Next Sunday is her graduation ceremony, something she has been looking forward to doing for many years.

Well I need to get moving myself as I want to get in my exercise time and I have a 9:45 appointment with the dentist this morning. This should be the last appointment for awhile.

The prediction is for nice weather most of this week and I'm working Tuesday & Wednesday this week and DH is suppose to go upstate Wed for the weekend...I'm looking forward to a couple of days alone, haven't had that in awhile.

Everyone enjoy their day.

Good Morning, Val

Your DD's new apartment sounds wonderful! She'll have it feeling like *home* in no time.

Congratulations to her on her graduation! She has worked hard! It's time to reap the rewards.

I agree about needing alone time! Whenever my DH works a weekend, I'm able to go off with friends who work all week and only have free days on weekends or just sit around and do nothing! I'm glad it doesn't happen all the time ... but ... Got to love it when it does! ;-)

Have a great day.

Yes, Val. It looks like this week is going to be nice, and the topper for you will be the weekend to yourself! How nice.

Nothing special going on here today. Waiting for the energy to do some yoga and weight lifting here.

Val:

I didn't realize her graduation was around the corner. Congratulations to her. Glad the step-children also remembered. That apartment sounds lovely . My dentist called this am- said he had to reschedule for Wed. Do I charge him a cancellation fee?

Good Morning Val...what a nice day you had yesterday. Congratulations to your DD on her upcoming graduation. Do hope this is your last visit to the dentist for awhile. Not my favorite place to go.
