Just a quick good mornin' to everyone in the garden. Have to quick get my walk in. It is verrrrrryyyyyy humid here...tropical almost!! Had a great Mother's day. So nice to see DS home from the Big Apple. He cooked a fabulous Mother's day meal on the grill. Yummy veggies. He even grilled fresh peaches with honey! Really good. Then we just sat around & "chewed the fat", had a few laughs & he was gone...like a genie. Oh well it was lovely. Also DD helped & they cleaned up the parts of the kitchen they could reach! LOL.

The house is full of packed boxes with more to come. I declare, how did we accummulate so much more stuff!! Does anyone remember Irma Bombeck's column about how you end up with single socks, & lots of hangers? It was a hoot. Something about hangers reproducing in captivity. Gosh I miss that woman. Well off to walk in the "jungle". TTFN. hugzzz, dee

Be careful of the animals in the jungle, Dee. I'm sitting here waiting for the energy you already have.

It is hard to believe you will be leaving so soon. Isn't it funny that we both are involved in such a major undertaking at our age?

Dee:

Glad you had such a nice Mother's Day. Yes, I remember that article. She was had a knack for telling it as it is. Something like a gracious Andy Rooney.

Good Morning Dee...we are having humid weather too but I expect it for us, just wish it had waited a little longer to get here. Enjoy your walk as much as you can.

Sounds like a wonderful Mother's Day for you. Also sounds like you are getting in order for the move. The stuff we do collect...it is unbelieveable.

Hi Dee! Sorry it's so humid for you when you're so busy. It's already gotten very steamy down here, but that's not so unexpected even though it's a bit early. Did your teach DS to cook? How appropriate and lovely that he should cook for you yesterday!

Yes, I do remember Irma!! and miss her. We need another one, but they don't come along too often I guess. Hope's remark about Andy Rooney made me laugh! Yeah, he's pretty good, but Irma's feminine touch was just the best.

Take it easy today. Seren

Good morning, Dee. What a nice dinner! Chewing the fat even sounded fun, LOL.

Yes, it is humid here, too. I just returned from working out and it was extremely warm in the gym. BUT I'm not going to complain! I'm just happy to see the sun shining!

Enjoy your day!
