Ellen, I hope you have a good time on your trip. Could you (or someone) refresh my memory about where you are going? I must have missed it or I may have forgotten. Also, Ellen.....did you get stung? I read that you hand was swollen, then that it was getting better, and that is good, but I am wondering what happened. Geez, I have missed a lot in the past couple of weeks.
I am also wondering what happened to Jopenni's son? Why was he in the hospital?
Seren, congrats to your DD on her grades. She must be so relieved and happy, and you must be so proud!
My day was spent doing laundry, grocery shopping, and puttering around doing necessary house stuff. And of course, I have been reading posts today too, as I take breaks. Sure is nice to be at least halfway caught up here in the garden.
We had a great time in Florida last week. Our friends from San Francisco arrived on Monday and stayed until Friday. It was nice having them spend time with us, but it was also nice that DH and I were able to have the last night there to ourselves. We had perfect weather all week, not a drop of rain, and a wonderful ocean breeze. Lots of good food and lazing by the pool. DH actually caught a few fish this time, a couple of Yellow Fin and several fish which he calls a LGF (little gray fish...LOL). He's a "catch and release" kind of guy, so he threw them all back. I think the fun is in the catching. ??? I don't get it, but he seems to have fun, so....
Almost 11 here on the east coast, so I think I'll go to bed. DD is out with her BF, and DS has gone to a concert with a group of his friends, and when I went downstairs a few minutes ago, DH was in the recliner, mouth open, eyes closed. Typical night here, all is back to normal. It is good to be home. See you all tomorrow, Ladybugs.....BB

Poof!!! I'm gone!!
KaCee
Glad your DH got some fish this time. I don't understand the throwing back thingie either. When I used to fish, a hundred years ago, cooking fish that you'd caught yourself was the best tasting fish in the world. Sweet memories of my brother and I fishing, me baiting the hook, me cleaning the fish, and us cooking and eating it..LOL!! Mostly we got little sunnies, smallish catfish, and some perch. I still love fish, but don't go fishing anymore.
Sweet dreams dear friend....Love, Susie
Hugs,
..
