..inside the doctor's office for allergy testing~!

Good morning, Bugs. My company will be leaving shortly, then I have a reprieve until the 20th. Today, however, I'll be going to the Y, then heading for the doctor's. Have any of you had allergy testing? I guess I'll be poked and stuck on my forearm to see exactly what sets me off. They said it would last for about an hour and a half.

DH said he'd take me to Ocean City for dinner tonight. Actually he has an ulterior motive. There's a classic car show going on there.

OK, have to get going here....Have a good day everyone!

Hugs,Shari

Good Morning, Shari. Have *fun* at the Drs this morning. I have not had to go through the allergy tests but have friends who have. Seems that is what happened to them, getting poked with needles and waiting to see what happened.

Are you having problems with foods or other things?

Good Luck...Pab

I guess I can call you Shari, the human pin cushion, from now on. I never had the testing done but one of my brothers did when he was about ten and I was about 16. I thought he was getting everything he deserved(lol).

Enjoy your (DH's) night out. Kathey

I've had a couple of kinds of allergy testing done, Shari. The kind where they draw a 'grid' on your back and scratch about 8000 (a slight exaggeration!) spots and spread an allergen on each spot. And the kind where they use the arm and inject small amounts of suspected allergens under the skin to see the reaction to them. Not fun, but not as uncomfortable as the other, either! At least when they do it on your arm you can watch the reaction!!

Enjoy your dinner out!
