Morning to You All... I hope that Everyone is Smiling or Trying to Smile!!!

I am off for my mammogram and so is Francine, and I am not looking forward to that one test... I know its suppose to be a little pinchy but for me I truly don't like it...LOL

Oh well my walk yesterday was kinda fun and very interesting if I say so myself... Nice to be back with the young...

Well one parent had to smoke after the teacher left and I and some children sure didn't like the smell of the cigarette.. I didn't think it should happen when other children are around... I know its a habit but I think parents who smoke should try to restrain from it during field trips...

Well anyway YOU "all" Smile and Have a Great Day.... wren

Good luck to you, too, Wren on that mammogram. No, it's not a thing I look forward to either, but it's a necessity.

I agree with you about the smoking. I could never understand why parents did that on field trips. It didn't happen often, but when it did I politely asked them to go somewhere away from the children.

Have a good day.

Good Morning Wren. You too are getting the big squeeze. I hate it too. Really hate it! I think it is too bad that the parent had to smoke on a field trip. I am surprised it was even allowed. It is a tough habbit to break I think. I began smoking when I was 18 and right after I moved to the Twin Cities and was on my own. Dumb kid. I suffered some very bad health problems immediately, ulcers among them and had stopped smoking by the time I was 21. It took a while for me and I did not have a very bad long ingrained habbit. Some times I still have dreams that I am smoking and I panic because I think, "Oh no what am I doing this for?" I am so glad when I wake up and remember I haven't smoked for nearly 40 years.

Have a good day Wren and pamper yourself this afternoon. MM

Good morning, Wren. That certainly was inappropriate of the "adult" to smoke during a school function. In fact, here it is outlawed. The next time this parent volunteers to chaparone, she should be reminded that smoking is not allowed. And, why was the teacher away from the group?

I'm glad you enjoyed yourself, though. I wouldn't have the guts to handle a bunch of kids anymore; I'm having trouble with just one. Kathey

Hi there, Shari..

Well, the pinching is over for Now Just hope things turn out ok on that...

Now I Myself won't go it I smoked... besides its something that kids shouldn't have to smell.. My son said that stinks.. But in one hour time this man smoke 5 cigarettes... The teacher doesn't watch any children each parent is suppose to watch their own and 2 others... that is what happen but in my group I had a father who Smoked...

In all of my trips with schools this is the first time it has happened...

I use to smoke but quite long ago and I was very luck to QUIT... because its the most worse habit to get hooked on... wren

Have a Great Night I will be posting in the early morning but after that I am off at 8 am for the trip...

Hi Mary Mary... Yes the big squeeze sure was not fun, just hoped it was done ONCE... they seem to press harder now I think?? I just hope the thing returns ok from the doctor...YOU see I do have a problem there anyway but nothing to worry about just yet I am hoping it will just unplug by itself..

Well I don't know if the smoking was allowed... All I know is that I sure didn't think it was right for 8 yr olds... I use to smoke too a (28 yrs)habit that controls the human Life.. I am very grateful that I finally got off those things... Because it is SO Hard to QUIT, trying to take back your life from a controller is Extremely Hard...

Well Hope you have a great day and Night NOW... wren

Hi KatEy, I have to agree!

I don't think he should of smoked either... We are suppose to be the adults and its some adults who don't follow the rules and when or if a child breaks a rule he or she is punished NOW this picture is wrong...

Well I think that any parent who goes on field trips "shouldn't" light up around kids... IF they truly need the smoke then he or she should go elsewhere to do it...

I think that is WHY he waited for the teachers to leave and the others to leave the groups...

This class trip each parent is given 3 to 4 kids to watch and the teachers get none for the day... 20 kids 5 to 6 parents per class... I was placed with this father... so I know he was wrong ( he is a cub scout leader too)..

Gg I should talk I use to smoke but even then I never lite up around kids especially on school functions...

SEE that is why smoking is being ban for area...

Well KathEy I hope you had a Great and Fun Day I will be around for awhile wren
