Happy Thursday From the Heartland.......

Hi Ladybugs, it's a gloomy day here in the Heartland of south central Kansas. I need to get outside and get some sunshine on my face, so I'm hoping to see some this weekend. I'm beginning to feel gloomy on the inside too. That won't last though, I'm just bored. That doesn't mean that there's nothing to do around this house, and there's things I can do while in my wheelchair too, just don't feel like it. Weird huh?!

Wish I had something funny, sunny, silly, or uplifting to say; but that's about it for this day. Maybe the sun will come out tomorrow...hmmmm..that sounds like a song. No!! No!! Do NOT want to be singing that annoying song in my head all day long!! LOL!!

Hope things are going well in all of your little corners of the world. I think I'll go and throw some laundry in now or something. Yea, that sounds like fun..NOT!! LOL!!

Take care dear friends, see you later.....Hugs, Susie

Hugs,

..

Hi, Susie

I can empathize! I remember feeling that way after my knee surgery. I wanted to be up and out and I just couldn't do it! I felt confined. Now I really appreciate every mobile moment.

We have had a strange mix of sun, clouds, and a sprinkle or two now and then. I hope June is a better month for sun. Cape Cod in the gloom isn't my idea of a vacation.

Have a good afternoon.

Francine

Thanks a lot for planting that song in my head for the rest of the day (lol). It started out rainy and dreary this morning but the sun is out now (is it tomorrow already). Your spirits seem down a bit but you have a day to look forward to when the chair will be gone, the cast will be gone, and you will once again be wiggling and giggling to some kids program. Kathey

Susie, if your gonna have a song stuck in your head may as well have all the lyrics! ;-)

The sun will come out tomorrow

Bet your bottom dollar that tomorrow

There'll be sun

Just thinking about tomorrow

Clears away the cobwebs and the sorrow

Til there's none

When I'm stuck with a day

That's gray and lonely

I just stick out my chin

And grin and say oh

The sun will come out tomorrow

So you gotta hang on til tomorrow

Come what may

Tomorrow, tomorrow, I love ya tomorrow

You're only a day a way

Tomorrow, tomorrow, I love ya tomorrow

You're only a day away.

KaCee

Poof!!! I'm gone!!

Gloomy weather can certainly dampen your spirits. Put on some good music and that'll get you moving! Might pull you out of the doldrums too!

And Susie......Hang in there!!!...Woo WOO!......LOLOLOLOL!.....Silly BB

Somedays the gloom outside just combines with a few emotions and gives a person a down day. But I try to tell myself, well, I'll plod on through this day, and it'll be behind me. Everybody has to have them sometimes. But, Susie, you got that song started...LOL The other day Annie was on TV, and DH was flipping through the channels, got stopped there, and do you know, we both re-watched that movie and thoroughly enjoyed it!! LOL With two DDs, we both know the thing backwards and forwards..DD1 and her cousin (they were born just a day apart) had Annie dresses, Annie dolls, Sandy dolls, you name it...! It is such a good movie for little girls. I told DH that I wondered what the equivalent movie is for little boys? There must be one.

Hey, how'd that laundry go? LOL Tomorrow will be better. Seren

Susie, I hope you felt better this afternoon. I have had that commercial for GMC's overnight test drive "Let Me Sleep On IT" playing over and over in my head. Maybe it will stick to you and leave me. : ) I hope the sunshine will cheer you soon. It has been dreary here today and that really makes a difference for me.
