This corner and has a tree there and a very large patch of ivy, that has become "straggerly" over the years and this winter the snow didn't do it much good. It also is a catch place for leaves etc. I srarted to cut it back about two weeks ago but I was still unhappy with it, so I finally pulled it all out. I moved three big hostas to there, put in two small boxwood and a couple of golden tipped junipter and a few fern...Then I mulched the whole area and I am so very pleased with the outcome.
By 6:30 last night the house was cleaned, the rugs were cleaned and the yard looked so nice. DH and the pups were upstate so I could jusr sit back and enjoy all this alone.
For the moment, no one was having a problem and I truly was thankful for all these little blessings. I'm real easy to please, its truly the little things for me.
On top of that Remy's surgery went very well and he was home recuperating. I came in from the yard I was tired and very dirty but happy, I took a shower and made myself a big salad and I made it through friends but fell asleep soon after.
We're suppose to have rain the next two days but I have some indoor projects that need doing..
Oh...almost forgot, the dentist office called and my bridge finally arrived, so I made an appointment for Saturday morning
Hope you all enjoy your day....

Someone on the board mentioned their neighbor digging up the lawn and planting ivy. I thought this would be a problem and worse if it crept into neighboring yards;I had read that ivy can harbor mold and mildew.
Glad to hear that Remy is doing fine. Now enjoy your weekend. Kathey
Do you ever stop? lol
