the wonderful Copper River Salmon, Fettucini Alfredo and fresh asparagus. Dh brought home a yummy Pinot Noir (I am having a second glass here as I type). I pan roasted the salmon with nothing but salt and pepper in a bit of olive oil. Sooo gooood! It stands on it's own.

Susie, we watched ER and it was intense! And made me so glad that we live here in the good ole US of A. I had heard that someone was leaving and was so afraid that Luca was going to be shot when the rebels had them I almost stopped breathing! Of course we still don't know if he will be back next year. And I have to say I'm sorry to see Carter back with Abby. I just don't like her and think he deserves better, maybe Susan?;-) It's only a TV show, It's only a TV show! Nighty 'nite! KaCee

Poof!!! I'm gone!!

Yum, that sounds soooo good!! I need to get back to the fish market and get stocked up again. All of mine is gone and I normally eat fish at least twice a week. Now while I'm in a wheelchair, I'm mostly eating frozen Lean Cuisine dinners. Sometimes I put lemon pepper on my salmon and broil in my toaster oven, and sometimes I just use ICBINB (I Can't Believe It's Not Butter) spray and some pepper. I don't add salt to anything except eggs and that's only a wee bit. Anyway I'll be craving fish now til I get some more..LOL!!

I was afraid that Luka would be shot too when they were attacked. I hope the next season's first show doesn't make that happen. I would *not* be happy about that at all!! I agree with you about Carter and Abby, I don't care much for her either. I don't think Susan is the right match either. They need a new character for Carter IMO! Yes, it's only a TV show, but oh how I love my favorite TV shows..LOL!!....Susie

The food! The whole food! And nothing but the food! ;-)

Hi, KaCee

You're right when you say salmon can stand on it's own. We eat that way all the time now. If I serve anything *casserole*, it's usually a veggie dish. I have the best recipe for lightly marinated sword fish that is heaven-sent! Can't wait to fire up the grill and get grilllin'!

We grill all our veggies, too, and often serve everything over rice pilaff ... prepared with a little less butter than usual.

Ooooooooops! The girls are barking for their breakfast! I'm gone! HAGD

That sounds so good! Love it all. I like Pinot Noir too. Not fair, though, your DH bringing home stuff like that. Oh to have a store like that! lol

Good morning, Kacee. I am just recently discovering and exploring the Pinot Noirs, and am loving them almost as much as Chardonnay. Have you tried any of the wines made by Luna Di Luna? They make a white wine that is a mixture of Chardonnay and Pinot Grigio that is outstanding (IMHO)! Check it out next time you need a good white with dinner (in a pretty royal blue bottle).

You dinner sounded good. DH had leftovers last night and I had veggie soup from a can...:-(. Tonight is Mexican though!....BB

Sounds yummy, I have to look into it. I usually leave the wines to DH, he has more knowledge in that area but I know what I like! Fortunately, we generally agree. KaCee
