After I finally got my shower this morning I took Anna with me to return some DVD's and then went to the dog park. Came back, rousted DH from the couch and his 2+ hour nap and we went out for a drive with the top down in spite of the fact the sun was in and out. Then we ran some errands and he spent some happy time looking at plasma screen TV's and all that goes with them. We picked up a b-day gift for DS and then went out for Mexican. Now back home. I'm sorry I just can't abide do-nothing days when the sun is out and there is so much we could be doing or should be doing. He talked me out of the "shoulds" and into the "coulds" for today. We have enough stay at home days when it rains and such in the winter. Gotta make hay while the sun shines! Hope you all have a pleasant evening and night! KaCee

Poof!!! I'm gone!!

Go ahead! Rub it in that I had a do-nothing day. The 20-year-old neighbor has a convertable; maybe I should go cruising with him (lol). His girlfriend could stay here and clean my house while I'm gone (lol). Kathey

I love go-go-go days, KaCee! A few slow & stop days are all anyone needs to regroup ... and we usually welcome them! The first snowday of winter! The first rainy day that brings the smell of spring! Those days when you're home alone and grateful for the quiet!Got to love 'em!

I'm going to be a moving target for the next few days as we wind up our first phase of home improvement projects and set dates for the next. I have packing for the Cape, grooming for the girls, a haircut for myself. Wednesday morning ... we're off!

Can't wait.

I'm glad you had a wonderful day. I did, too. Sleep well.
