More on Victoria Day ......

To answer the few questions I'll be able to remember .... lol

Everything in Canada is closed up tight for the long weekend - in fact, for most long weekends. For that reason, we crossed the border and went shopping in Soo, Mich - lol. On your holiday, we'll see a return visit to this side - it's a big advantage to us all :).

Elaine - I had another busy, but productive and pleasant day yesterday. today it was back to work but at least it's only a 4 day week :).

Janet - I say that to my kids all the time now - and my mom said it to us - almost the same words .....just wait, it will come home to roost ... is what I always heard; and ...what goes around comes around ....! And how true it is.

Francine, they said on the news last night that Queen Victoria ruled from 1837 - 1901, 64 years!!!! Queen Elizabeth still has a way to go - she just celebrated her 50th year. I remember her Coronation - we were still in England, living in downtown London and there were street parties everywhere. All the school children got a book on the coronation and a pen with a little crown on top .....wish I'd saved it :)

Ok - I can't remember any other questions .......

It's freezing here today ...
