...if I could only unclench my teeth! That's the bumper sticker I saw on the car in front of me today! Had to laugh.

Hi Bugs, yes, it sure is quiet in the Garden today! I am just sitting back relaxing, because the girls are fixing me dinner! Ain't that nice??? :) They won't let me do a thing! Now that's the kind of company I like! I have to tell you about the time the girls were visiting when they were just about 10 and 11 yrs. old. I was having a big office picnic at my house. (DH's office) The morning of the picnic I had so much to do to prepare. Everyone seemed to disappear, except the girls. They got right in the kitchen and started cutting, slicing, dicing, you name it, they did it! Another time when they were visiting(about 5 yrs. ago) I announced at the dinner table that I needed someone to drive me to the hospital early the next day for my CTS surgery. No one in my own family said a word, but they both without a moment of hesitation said, "We'll take you!" and they did! Can you tell that I like them?? One of them is going to be in on a big surprise. I hope she likes what I'm going to give her for her graduation present. While at my Mother's house last month, I found a Bible that she had gotten in the Holy Land about 30 yrs. ago. The cover is made in Mother of Pearl. I'm going to give it to Leah. Do you think she'll like it? DH has another present for her as well.

Hmmm. I wonder what they are cooking down there?

DH will be getting home at midnight tonight. He had a super fishing trip....caught tuna, wahoo, swordfish, etc. Guess we'll be eating fish for the next few days!

I'll let you know how dinner turns out.

Later,

Hugs,Shari

You lucky devil, you. My daughter does a disappearing act when I could use help in the kitchen.

I think the Bible is a precious gift. It has that personal touch that many gifts lack.

I haven't been to the Garden since I got home from work. Guess I'd better get busy reading or I will be lost at chat (lol--like I'm always).
