Hmmmm. What is that? Did I tell you that I have my DM's diary from HS and several years beyond? In the entry dated Sept. 10, 1934 she writes, "Bob (my dad) came over tonight and we rode around. Ended up at Hinky Dinky Parley Voo in Futchton, IN." Sounds a little suspicious if you ask me ! LOL

I did find this song:

You know, I think I heard my Mama sing that too when I was little. Can't remember much of it. Sure do remember Hinky Dinky Parley Voo! lol Wishe she were alive to sing it for me again. Makes you wonder what they were up to, doesn't it?

Have a good day. Jackie

LOL...my dad was the one who use to sing this when we were children at my house. He is the one that knows all the *interesting* ditties.

Was this a song sung during WWI?

Here's another link to the lyrics. I used to sing that song when a kid, but I think I made up my own words..LOL!! I remember a line about getting hit over the head with a garbage can. Yep, my own words..LOL!!
