I see the discussion for today is floor mopping. Well, the local TV station just did a comparision test at a local mall with Clorox Ready Mop and The Swifter.

First they had a grade school class mess up a floor with all kinds of gunk. Both worked equally bad. Then they did a hallway (which probably only gets foot traffic) and both did equally good. It was said that The Swifter was easier to handle and change.

So, there you have it ladies. Get off you hands and knees and do a mediocre job on that kitchen floor. Kathey

I was just laughing at the ads on tv today. For the swiffer they have this machine that they used to use in the movies that would put dust all over things so you blow some on the clean floor and it looks really dusty and WHOOSH swiffer makes a trail right through it......Well duh my old rag mop can do that but THAT is not scrubbing.

Then there is Orange glow.....the lady with the hand print with chocolate syrup or something on her cupboard door.....spray Orange Glow and it wipes right up....I say leave it there a week and try that. Then again with the blown in dust amazing how that just wipes right up isn't it?

Then my favorite and I tried this first hand a few years ago I got a Scumbuster for xmas. Now that thing was really a worthless piece of junk......at least with the pasta pot you could plant a flower in it.....that Scumbuster was really bad.....

I wonder if I will live long enough that I would be able to clean real dirt with a Swiffer? No one is going to live that long.......Janet

Have a nice day !.
