A little update to let you know I am missing you all so much and I am Ok!

Remember the Manager walked out......before she did I committed (after giving my 2 week notice) to stick out the 2 weeks!, Guess I told you I was offered the position. I accepted because I committed to the 2 weeks. Now she is not speaking to me...it really hurts...she is the one I have helped outside of work over & over again.....the one we were moving when DS got into the truck accident.....seems I am only "OK" when coming to her assistance. She feels I betrayed her by not leaving when she did. I did not WANT this job.....but who is gonna pay my bills? Because of her I blew the chances with the Lawyer....but word has it I didn't get it anyway since I wasn't from around here. Who knows? You all had sound advice, and I know you were right......but you do what you have to do at the time. It has been very stressful.......I have worked 80 hours last week and have been 10 days without a day off, BUT I am on top of things and doing a great job if I say so myself!! Seems Rhonda helped me by giving me all the responsibility SHE was suppose to have!! Turns out I wasn"t SUPPOSED to be doing half the things I was! This week will be the test........will make or break me......lots of stuff going on.

Just wanted to jump in & say hi......love you all and miss you so.......will never ever catch up..... as you know pray for you all daily. Hopefully after this next week and everyone is trained etc, I will have a "normal" schedule and get back to important things like all of you and this Garden!!!

Newbies.....Forgive me.....I welcome you and hope to get to know you real soon!!!

Love you guys! Forgive me for my absence.....it's been nuts!

Hi Sharon! I missed you to! Hope that you get to spend some of this week-end with your hubby! Sounds like you did the right thing by hanging in there! Are you still going to look some where else when the two weeks are up? I have two meat loafs in the oven. I made them in to two, so they cook up sooner and have one for sandwiches. They sure are starting to make it smell good in here! See ya soon! Hugs, SusieK

Thumbs Up Sharon: I'm a newbie who has a broken thumb. I have been trying to get to know you all. But haven't been E-mailing much. You seem to have it under control. And I congratulate you. I know you will be successful in all that you do. Keep up the good work and know you will be in my prayers. Much success. Things should get easier. Hugs Catherine

Sharon- glad you posted. I was wondering about you. It is understandable that you took the job. I have done so at one time or another when there were big bills to pay.

But it is hurt me in the long run to work so many hours. Nobody appreciated it, and I gave up doing other things which would have move my career ahead. So, my two cents is slow down. We only have one life. Keep coming back and email when you want to talk.

I'm glad you got back to us..I was wondering what you had decided. In today's economy a lot of people are taking jobs that are not exactly what they want in order to pay the bills. At least you're going into it knowing exactly what's involved.

Eighty hours is a lot of hours and if that continues, you'll burn out fast...One thing I always remembered from what seems like a thousand years ago, was advice given in a job seminar...the best time to look for a job is when you already have one. I realize that while you're working 80 hours a week that's hard to do but I'd keep my eyes and ear open.

As far as Rhonda is concerned...she was using your friendship and IMO...no loss there

Good luck and keep us posted.

Sharon, it's always so good to hear from you. Sorry to hear that you are hurting right now, and I hope everything blows over soon. Also hope that things will settle down at your job. 80 hours is too much working, sweetie!...Love, BB

Sharon - so good to hear from you. I'm very happy to hear that - in spite of being busy - things are starting to go in the right direction for you. hang in there and remember to put your faith in yourself, not in others - it's always better in the long run, I think because then you're never let down, just pleasantly surprised on a regular basis.

hugs
