I bet I caught everyone's attention. LOL Well it is like this. My cardiologist wants me to keep my legs elevated for a few days. Probably until he gets back from vacation. This is what I had to do 30plus years ago when I was carrying DS because of swollen ankles.

It seems that between fracturing my toes (remember the frying pan dropping on them), the non steriod meds, and the long plane ride during Easter week, something went out of balance. Hence, water retention. So, I have new meds an a strong recommendation to keep feet up- higher than heart.

Has anyone read a good book lately. I will be doing a lot of that this Memorial Weekend. Also no salt. There goes all the yummy Memorial day picnic food.

That is how I spend Memorial day weekend 30plus years ago when everyone in the City was going to the World's Fair.

See everyone later,

Hope

Not only did it catch my attention, my first thought was of you in the exam room until he got back from vacation.

Lemon is a good substitute for salt. My dad uses Mrs. Dash salt substitute but I don't like it--too salty.

I haven't read a book in ages. Kathey

Hugs to you, Hope, I know how you feel. I had to spend a lot of time with my feet elevated when I was pregnant with my DS, because of swelling, so I know how hard and BORING that can be. Good luck to you......BB

Hope, do take care this weekend. If the Dr has said to keep your feet up...hey take full advantage of it. Hoping the new meds do their job.

Hugs...Pab

Hi Hope - bummer for you but think of the lovely memories it has triggered .... and you did catch my attention. What kind of books do you like (bet it's in your profile!)? James Patterson has a couple of new books out if he's your style. Frank Yerby and Taylor Caudwell are still old author friends for me. Ayn Rand can hold my attention if I'm in the right mood. And if you like mysteries someone just told me to try books by Joy Fielding (which i haven't done yet). Does that help???

Enjoy the rest and the reading catch-up. ARen't you glad it's dreary so you, at least, won't me missing the celebrations :).

get well soon.
