I think I told you about the time we drove the four hours to the Atlanta airport only to discover >AS< we were parking, that DD2 had left her air tickets at home...And she is by far the most organized member of our family, so she has never been able to live that down. So today, they were flying out of our local airport, a 20-25 minute drive from our home. >AS< we pull up, DD1 says "I'm glad Mom is handling all the tickets and passports so we can count on having everything"...I respond "Everything but your flight on to Italy; you have that ticket".........No, I don't...Yes, you do...No I don't.....So I drop them at the door of the terminal, and tear out back home in the rain. We've arrived at the airport almost an hour and a half early, so I'm not really too worried. Til I get home. I tore the house apart looking for that ticket. Her bedroom. bathroom. kitchen. den. her car. Nothing. So I could only reach the airport by calling the airport security, who were very kind and helpful. After about 20 minutes (by now I'm thinking there's no way I can get back out there anyway), DD comes to the phone. I tell her all I can think is that it's in their luggage...Twenty minutes later, she calls, yes, they found it. Evidently it was in her hands just as they closed a suitcase, and she laid it in there. So that's why I'm feeling so drained! I didn't even say goodbye except on the phone. In a few minutes I will check on all the animals, and then I am going to sleep for as long as I please! I'm not usually a late sleeper, but I may sleep a very long time tonight!
I hope to catch up with all the news here tomorrow *at my leisure*!!! I love that word *leisure* ahhhh!
Oh, BTW, did anybody else watch "My Home in Umbria" tonight on HBO? I half watched it, but also taped it and may watch it again. Maggie Stephens "Dame Maggie" was in it; she's a pleasure to watch. OK, it's nighty night for me. Talk to you later. Seren

I guess I should read some posts so I know what's been happening. CU in the morning. Kathey
Your story about your DD and her tickets sounds just like something that would go on in my family...and we are usually the ones running around.
Time for you to kick back and enjoy some alone time.

About traveling -- no matter how far in advance I plan for a trip, I am always running around like a chicken with its head cut off just before time to leave.
Hope your DH and DD have a great time, I'm sure they will. And Happy Memorial Day to you, Seren!.....Love, BB
Enjoy your single-girl time.
