If you guys are dropping in and reading let us know how you're doing.
We actually had sun for a couple of hours yesterday but its back to showers today...had to pull some of my planters out of rains' way, they were getting to much water. My poor pansies are starting to get mold on them and anything that has bloomed is drooping from all the rain...every time we get a break in the weather I get out and dead head the flowers and try to keep up with cleanup
KC - you asked about "Storm"....yes that's his given name and it really doesn't fit him..all I can think of for the moment is "Slick" and that has to do more with his appearance than ability...
Jackie...it is Yankee Candle I work for...have you tried any of the new summer scents..Vanilla Winds and Summer Fresh are nice...
Hope - to answer your question, yes they do train these people and each individual procedure is not difficult but I personally wouldn't rely on remembering it...I'd write it down, because somethings you'll do every day but others will only come up once in awhile..like a return.
I'm off to work today so I've got a few things to do first...will check in later. DH and the pups are off today for upstate, so I'll be getting some of the precious "alone time"
See you guys later - HAGD

Daughter and family came down last Friday and left for their home on Monday. Then I worked 3-11 both Monday and Tuesday, so I didn't have time to come to the Board. All is quiet now and I'm checking things out.\
I loved your tale about your comment to DH after your fall. You are a hardy soul with a sense of humor. How is your hand, anyway?
Take it easy at work.

Ah! The scent of summer candles! I place a tray of sand on the grate in our fireplace, arrange pillar candles and an assortment of shells and rocks, and light the candles for ambiance each evening we spend at home. Last year it was hydrangea! This year ... not sure yet!
I visited the Colonial Candle Outlet Store in Hyannis last week. I bought boxes of tapers and pillars as well as the more utilitarian votives and such.
Then in late fall ... just before Christmas ... I visit the Yankee Candle Flagship Store in Deerfield. It is the BIGGEST candle store I have ever visited and is a wonderful daytrip!
I may have already posted this link but here it is again.
