Yes Buggies, I have taken a part time job working weekends at a small local store owned by a friend of mine. It is just ten minutes from the house. It's a neighborhood of friendly folks and one of those where everyone knows everyone. Might even get some local juicy gossip! lol

I haven't heard any news about my business venture in over a week. I sure wish they'd get it over with because the suspense is driving me nuts! The last I heard was that the committee of retired executives are going to discuss my proposal and determine which financial program I am best suited for. I have no patience, I want it now!lol

Yeah, I know, patience is a virtue. Just not one of mine.lol

Have a great day and hugs to all. Jackie

Hi girl! Happy Thursday. The store I work at is asmall community convenience and some grocery store. Since we are quite a ways from the nearest bigger town, the store sells alittle of everything from beer to a can of beans.

My hours are a little mixed up right now but the regular will be every other Sat. and Sunday. And Tuesdays 10am to 3pm.

You know, you are the only one who answered my post today. Thank you.

Jackie

ps- still haven't found Patience! LOL

Hey Jackie,

First of all, I hope that you get good news about your business venture real soon. I know that patience is a virtue, but it ain't much fun waiting for dreams to be realized, is it?

Anyway, don't be upset if you don't get lots of replies to your posts. That does not mean that they are not being read and that you are being ignored. We all wish you well. And most of all, we are all glad that you have become a part of our merry band. So keep coming here, and keep letting us know what happens with your venture.

Hugs,

Dannie
