on again. We've had some really lovely weather the past few days. DH and I worked in the yard and flower garden over the week-end. Talk about sore!! With all the back trouble I had over last fall and winter I'd really gotten out of shape....not that I was in it in the first place, but could do some things without being short of breath and so stiff I could hardly walk! Looks good and I think I can maintain it now. Have cut back on annual flowers for this year. Maybe next year I'll feel more inspired.

The little family had a good visit with everyone and Baby was a little angel. DS said she was constantly in someone's arms, slept good at night. All the families were on their best behavior ours and hers.

I agree about being more than a little confused about taking HRT. I cut way back, pretty much stopped....started having hot flashes during the day, night sweats something terrible, my legs hurt and twitch. Don't know if anyone watched Dr. PHIL last week, but he kind of had a program on women and their hormones, what happens and why. There is a book out written by a woman doctor, think I'm going to check it out. There has to be something out there that works without putting our health in danger.

Have quite a few projects I need to work on. Some days I feel quite energetic, others I'd just as soon crawl right back into bed and hide! Will check back later........TJ

I know we shouldn't have to have a manual on how to grow old....that is what ticks me off is that most of us just want to live quietly and grow old gracefully........but grace ain't got nuttin' ta do with it does it?

I know I am confused.....Janet

There are several good books about Menopause listed at my "Menopause Oasis", TJ. Here is a link to the book page: http://pages.ivillage.com/cl-klrambo/menopauseoasis/id6.html

Hi TJ. My trouble is that I always have energy for the wrong things - lol. I haven't done much in the yard as DH prefers to work alone out there. I have been decluttering with a vengence, though, and am starting to feel like I'm making headway.
