Not quite sure what project I'll get going, have some paperwork to do, have gotten the beds stripped and started the laundry. Would like to work outside for awhile but not quite sure what the weather is going to be. Yesterday we really had some downpours throughout the day and last night it was thundering for awhile.
Happy to see you Lanie...the hand is mending, although I did manage to do a little more damage the other day at work, I reached into a box and ripped the scab again. I wouldn't be surprised to wind up with a scar but as its on the heal of my hand it hardly matters...How are things going with the move.
Francine - like your idea of putting the candles in the fireplace, will have to try that.
I've been told by a number of customers that a visit to the Deerfield store is really quite an experience.
Now I'm not one for any of the "reality shows"..watched the first survivor show and then lost interest. There was very little on last night and I somehow found myself watching "Extreme Makeovers". I don't know if this is on every week or even if its new but OMG...every once in awhile I think...hummm now I wouldn't mind a little tuck here...then I see one of these shows about cosmetic surgery and it drives the idea out of my head. There was a young man who had lost 160 lbs and he wanted to have all the excess skin removed from his stomach....the surgery took hours and he wound up with over 500 stitches...he also had his nose done. The other two people were woman, both had nose jobs, liposuction and one of the woman had breast implants and laser surgery, while the other had a lot of face work done...They were all pretty young 20 to 30's...I guess if your really unhappy with your appearance, you can face going through all that but it didn't look easy, although the woman who had all the face work done, seemed to fair better than the two who had all the body work done...she didn't want body work done she worked at loosing weight herself. All in all it took six weeks for them to recover and return to their families..
Well I'd love to hang out here but I've got to get a move on...Yipeee..the sun is out. now if it just stays out...
Check in with you guys later...
Val

Enjoy your time alone. Gosh, I would love to have a few days here in the house all by my lonesome.....Hugs, BB
I have seen several of those Extreme Makeover shows. I just can't get over the fact that in most cases, all of the surgery is done at once! It seems like a lot to have to face all at one time! I guess it saves on the anesthesia!
I do have several friends who are always getting *something* done, and I must admit, they look fantastic!!
Hope you enjoy your alone time.
Hugs, Shari
Glad you're healing up after your fall. Take good care of that hand now and please be careful...Hugs, Susie
Hugs,

Lucky you with DH away for a bit. We all benefit from being away from our mates at times.
Foggy here, but the sun is trying to poke its head out.
