Little Bobbi is home from the hospital and is doing fine. The doctors never did give a definitive answer about her infection but, I guess, the main thing is that it's cleared up.
Two of my grands, Sierra and Kaleb, have chicken "pops". Siera said that she's now a pink dalmation ....... DD had to cancel the daycare kids for the week although I think it was too late by the time she knew.
Treavor, our newest, is doing great. He's almost 6 weeks old already and is starting to smile and coo - aren't they precious?!?
3 weeks to go before retirement but who's counting!!!!!
It's freezing here, literally. we had frost last night and it's sunny, windy and cold today.
Hi and welcome to those who are new that I missed greeting. Hugs to those who are struggling with difficult things right now, welcome back to those who have been away, and enjoy the weekend everyone.
Love
JJ

BUTTER TARTS!!! Yummmmm!!!!! My Mothers favorite and we always got them every trip to Canada that we took when I was a kid. That and Eccles Cakes. We had to hunt down bakeries where ever we were so Mom could get them. Now everytime I go to Canada I have to find Butter Tarts. DH brings them back for me when he goes on business. Mom never made them, I tried once but the filling boiled out all over the pans. Tasted good though. Great food memories! Thanks! KaCee
Poof!!! I'm gone!!

I hope all else is well with you. Kathey
Oh no, not the dreaded pops. Hope they make it through without too much discomfort.
Only 3 weeks? Yippee skippy!
Wish I could send you some of our beautiful weather. Have a good weekend anyway. Love, BB

That's great news JJ about Bobbi, but not such good news about the chicken "pops"..LOL!! They will all heal up though and be done with all of that soon.
Three weeks til retirement..Woo Hoo!! Then you'll be able to play with us in the Garden more often. Yippee!!
Enjoy the rest of your weekend dear friend...Susie
Hugs,

Know what you mean about the format....use to enjoy the "catch up " posts but you don't see them much at all...get the feeling I'm always missing something.
Glad to hear that Bobbi is doing well, hopefully in time things may improve for you friend with regard to the custody situation, how is she doing?
Usually by the time the "pops" come out, they say the it's no longer contagious.
Wonderful having a new little one around to hug.
We haven't had frost but we sure have had alot of rain, its been pouring all night and it doesn't look like it's going to let up today. All that snow we had this winter has been replaces by all the rain we're having now. Its June 1st and I feel llike I'm still waiting for spring..
Hope the rest of your weekend went well.
Val
I bet Treavor (love that name) is one big bouncer of a baby. I love them too. In a way I wish the girls would continue to have babies, but in another way I get pretty nervous about the thought. lol
Raining here again, but not freezing like you are. Seems we think winter is over and then we all get socked again.
I saw your comment about we dear ladies being "wacko". Now really, where is your respect. I shut off the computer last night and finally went downstairs to be with DH for awhile. Missed a lot of that silly stuff on the Board. Oh sad day.
Glad Bobbi is home and well. Getting out of any hospital in a timely fashion is the best thing to do. So frequently, another infection of some sort is picked up there. It happens all the time to our patients. Bless that little dear.
Lanie
I am happy that Little Bobbi if okay now. I don't understand doctors not telling his parents what he had. Does he have a doctor who can call the hospital and ask?
Three weeks , but who's counting- more time to see Treavor growing
Hug
Hope
