We have the carpeting in our house cleaned every March and it was done as usual this year. Plus, the couple buying the house saw a beautiful, clean carpet when they viewed the house and that fact worried both DH and me.
I used that rug cleaner recommended by the carpet experts (sure), "Capture". Did it 3 times and the areas where he emised (made up word for vomitted) were STILL lighter than the rest of the carpet. One of the nurses I worked with Tuesday, recommended "Oxy-clean". She said it cleans anything. Well I did it once, and the stains are gone. I am so pleased about that and can now relax about that. Now let's see. What can I worry about next? lol Maybe I can worry that there will be a terrible storm when I take the Ferry to Delaware on Tuesday!!!!!!!! Gotta make up something.
Also got a good deal on a saute pan I had been coveting by going to e-bay. Their price was $80 less than the lowest price I could find anywhere. Now I am a believer of e-bay and oxy-clean.
O.K., that is enough from me. Have a good night gals.

I've tried Oxy Clean on laundry and it didn't take out old stains. This new family has kids right? They will have plenty of stains and stuff on that carpet within the first year.
Is one of the kids sick or was that just a miniscule spot of spit up? I hope they aren't sick.
Be happy, don't worry. Kathey
It's actually DH's fault! I did not want to get such light carpets, but he insisted. Now we are thinking of having them replaced. They show too much dirt. We haven't had a baby throw up on them yet, but DGdog has and much more! Ewwwww!
NO storms for Tues....:)

Baby has been sick with an ear infection. He is fine now though.

Glad you got the baby barf out. I'm going to get some and see how it works on chocolate milk that even my carpet cleaner guy couldn't get all out. It's right in the middle of my living room in front of my coffee table. That was when Conner was learning to drink from a cup. I had him on the floor while I was changing him and not paying attention to what he was doing with his hands. He picked up his cup and tipped it to his mouth for a sip. It dumped all over him and my carpet!! He looked shocked and I laughed!! Sure is a cute memory though..LOL?!!
You have a good night too...Susie

Listen to the difference in these 2 statements.
1. We had baby throw up on our carpet
2. We had the baby throw up on our carpet
Funny, huh? One word added and it could sound like we requested him to throw up.
How is your daughter feeling, granny?
