Then Syl called and got me researching more about Queen Victoria - can't find any good pictures of her dresses on-line, but I did find a couple of books listed that I'll see if I can find at our local library.
I ended up going to Kentucky Fried yesterday to buy some whitemeat chicken for TC. He did the trick - he is eating some of it. He had eaten very little until then, and if he doesn't eat I can't give him his insulin properly!! His "clinic" smell must be leaving him - Hazel is treating him better today.
Mrs. P. Finch now has 6 wee little bluish, speckled eggs in her nest. Well, actually one of them is rather tanish. I'm not sure why the difference in color, unless the one is about to hatch already. That is going to be one mighty full nest if all of the eggs hatch and there are 6 fledglings in it!!! Check out this link: http://www.ronausting.com/purfinch.htm
I have barely skimmed today's posts - sorry, but I am just too sleepy to respond to them all! I think I'm going to go to bed early tonight - to see if I can shift myself back to Michigan time!!
Hugzzzz to all...

Wondered where you were today. Sorry your DS is having back pain, I sure know how that goes. Sounds like you got lots done today on the meno website. I'll go and take a look in a little bit.
Glad TC ate some chicken, poor baby. That must've really thrown him for a loop. Hope he's well on the mend now.
Sleep well, get rested up, sweet dreams, and we'll see you tomorrow..Susie
Hugs,

Did you consider checking out some museums on line for Victorian dress? I wonder if the shell color has something to do with the sex of the bird. Or, are you sure you don't have a big stone in the nest (lol). CU later. Kathey
