the less important the comma becomes. Let the reader catch his own breath." --Elizabeth Clarkson Zwart

So many of you are up and attem already. I'm up but not attem yet.

I hope you all your pantries are all in alphabetical order, the permanent press needs no ironing, Oxy Clean works on all your stains, and that the sun shines on all of you. Kathey

Good Morning, Kathey...Hope the sun shines on you too. Enjoy whatever you decide to do today. Have you found your "attem" yet? I'm still looking for mine yet this morning.

Welllll...my pantry is not A-Z, but I do like to try and keep the veges together, then fruits, soups, condiments, cereals and pastas together and then...it is more like "stick it" in somewhere! Didn't have much luck with Oxyclean...will stick with Clorox, and goody goody, the sun is shining at the moment(course, I am wearing a big ole red velore shirt to keep me warm...a bit chilly) Hey, you should post a "Absolutely No Magic Makers Allowed" sign at your place! What was he thinking! Hope you are recovered. Hugs Franni

Hello Kathey! I like the bit about the comma, sounds about right to me! I misread what you wrote, and thought you were asking if our *panties* were in alphabetical order...First reaction was: who cares. Then I wondered: does someone do that? Then: how do you alphabetize panties??? LOL Gee, don't you wonder how I make it through the day?

Hope your bras are in alphabetical order, Kathey...Seren

That reminds me of being a kid and getting the annual X-mas gift from Grandma which included underwear with the names of the week on each. God forbid you should wear the wrong day's panties to school.

ps: that practice stopped by grade four

Speaking of panties did anyone ever wear ones called "Campus Panties" they were nylon ribbed in blue, green, pink yellow, white, blue, and came 7 to a package with 2 pair of white ones. They came with the days of the week on them that is why they came in packages of 7. Since there were 5 girls in the family we didn't throw out the old ones when we got the new ones we just passed them down if they still had any life left in them. But every year when school started all of us in school got new ones and anyone still at home got the old ones. I went to Catholic Schools and they were required as part of the uniform and I am not sure if the nuns looked or not but from the first through the eighth grade I had to wear them and I hate wearing nylon panties to this day. Give me good old cotton ones any old day. Isn't it strange the things that scar us in our childhood and how we handle them as adults. I always wanted to wear sexy underthings but they always made them out of nylon and I just couldn't put that stuff on my body. As for alphabetizing bras DDs only line up in one row. Could line them up by numbers would that be ok? As for the pantry I have no idea what that looks like I have only been in the kitchen once since we have lived here. So that is foreign territory to me. I used to just keep the things that looked alike together or were the same size so things didn't fall all over the shelves. I kept spaghetti and all different kinds of pasta in tupperware and dried beans and such as well to keep critters out so they could stack. I would take mac & cheese out of the box and put it in containers mark and stack them because I only shopped once a month and this way I knew what I had and I could keep track of what was used but my DD isn't as neat of frugal as I was so I have no idea what the pantry looks like or what is even in there. Someday I hope to be able to get in there and find out what it looks like. She has a weeks vacation coming up in July and I plan on spending a couple of days in the kitchen with her but haven't told her yet. Don't want to spoil the surprise. hehehe.I think I will invite a couple of friends and a pizza and have a party. Make it a special day. One she will really remember. A pantry party. Does that sound sneaky? Hope not. Well enough of this I will go for now. Catch you all later. Aloha Kulani
