Oh well, here I am. Just came to say goodnight anyway. I've read most of the posts from today. TJ, I hope your back feels better. You've got a lot more snuggling in your future.
Kacee, I loved reading about the dinner on Saturday night (WOW to the food!) and the good time afterwards. Hope both your "kids" had a happy birthday.
Janet, I hope you've sold the camper. Did you get another one yet? I think I missed it if you did.
Well, DD has gone to her first night as a "server" (apparently this is the new politically correct term for what we used to know as waiters and waitresses) at the new restaurant. She has never waitressed (or should I say "served?") before, and I am wondering how she is doing. She's never been particularly handy in the kitchen. I think today is a "trial" for her. If she does okay, she will be offered a permanent job there for the summer. Can't wait to hear about it when she gets home.
I walked this morning, then ran some errands and didn't get home until almost one. Ate lunch, did a few things around the house, cooked dinner, then cleaned up the kitchen. I just had a wonderful hot shower with lavender shower gel, and I am heading for bed veeeeery soon.
Hope you all sleep well and I'll see you in the morning....Goodnight hugs to bugs (I still miss Karen).....BB

Server has been in use for quite a while because they are afraid of calling a guy a waitress by mistake. They called them wait staff for a while and then decided on server as an all around term like actor instead of actress for women everyone is so afraid of hurting someones feelings that I think they go overboard. All she really has to remember is who ordered wha and serve them from the left side and not to pour the hot stuff on them and say "sir" and "mam" and "yes" and "no" and "would you like anything else""Thank you and Please come back". And since she is your daughter she should not have any problem with her manners and should make it okay as a server. Of this I am certain.
Where is Karen? This is the second time I have seen a reference to her. I meant to ask about her the other time but it slipped my mind that time by the I managed to post my message.
Glad to see that you are still walking. Have you walked any great distances lately? Did you get the note I sent to you? You should have gotten it by now. Company just arrived have to go. Write more later. Lots of love Kulani
Karen has been very busy, trying to get her life back on track after her cancer surgery this past winter. She drops in now and then. I miss her too.
I'm just walking for fun and exercise these days, no more than 4 or 5 miles at a time. I am competing in the Peachtree Road Race on the 4th of July. You probably never heard of it, but it is a big deal around here. About 25,000 people participate, and it has always been a dream of mine to do it, and get one of the coveted T-shirts. So.....this is the year!
No, I never did get the note you sent to me. I was just thinking about that today when I got the mail. Hmmmmm...wonder what happened to it?
Enjoy your company. See you later! Hugs, BB (who is glad you are back here with us!)
Good luck with your new client tomorrow. Sounds like it will be an easy day for you and Ann sounds like a nice person.
Nite, nite......BB
My computer is running slowly today--not just iVillage. Maybe it's all the Jello that got spilled on it yesterday.
Good Night. Kathey
