Purr-babies woke me from a sound sleep about 7:30 - demanding food. It was good to hear TC talking that way again!

A quick shower and I was off to the hair dresser's for my color and a trim...sides are much shorter again!

Went to the local library where I ordered two books (that I found listed on a web-site) about Queen Victoria to be brought from the main library for me to look at. Hopefully they'll have some good pictures of Vicky! I have several pictures that I have found at various sites on the web - but only a couple of them are in color and it are from her 'early' years.

Home for a brief while - ended up talking to my DGD for a bit - then off to have my annual mammogram done (only about half a year late!). Then to Target for a wee bit of shopping and back home.

Then Dan came over and tinkered with the computer again - hopefully has the "locking up" conquered! Time will tell. Did get another glitch or two cleared up tho!

I am going in to the 'city' to visit with DGD & DGGD tonight, so I won't be here much at all today.

Oh, BTW, Mrs. P.Finch now has one baby and 5 eggs. The brownish color to that 6th egg must have meant it was about to hatch!

See you all in the morning, if not before!!

I was wondering this morning how TC was doing. So glad to hear he is getting back to normal. Yep, if he is waking you up for food, he is fine.

Have fun visiting with your new little one. Hugs, BB

My you were quite a Busy Bug today. How is that DGGD doing...bet she is getting big by now. They grow so fast. Saw the baby of a friend in church last Sunday...usually go to a different service time. Any way this little one was walking around...hanging on to the seat of the pew and back of the one if front of us...but I was thinking no this baby was just born...when I think about it, it was almost a year ago. How time does fly.

Good to hear that TC is back to himself.

I'm curious too as to why you are researching Queen Victoria. I watched a show with her as the main character on Master Piece Theater the other night. Think it was called Mrs. Brown. It had all ready started when I came across it so missed the beginning.

Hugs...Pab

I have been asked to 'portray' Queen Vicky at next year's Victorian Festival. With some slight modification our facial profile is remarkably similar. We need to make a gown for her to wear...thus the need for colored pictures of one! We know that during the era we are portraying she wore mostly black...but surely there were adornments that need to be duplicated!!!

Thus the search....

I had read about that show, Pab. So Ric and I rented it while I was out there. Not a bad show really, although I am sure some 'literary license' was used in making it!!

It seems I will be portraying QV next year at the Victorian Festival...thus the need to research her attire.
