I hope it is dry where you are. Torrential rain tonight. I went to Graduation. Haven't missed one for 28years. It makes the stress of the year worthwhile to see students graduate. A woman in her late thirties came up to me and said." I am sure you don't remember me, but you were the first teacher I met here. (Her niece was graduating today.) She went on to finish college, get two masters, and is an assistant principal who is waiting for her first school as principal. She said she still has a book I gave her to read when she felt she could not gone on with work and school. ( In addition , she has four children). I could kick myself because I didn't ask her for the title of the book. Yes, that's is why I go to Graduation. I come away feeling that I have accomplished something.

DS got a response from the graduate program ( via email). He is on the waiting list. If one of the candidates rejects their offfer , then they will take DS. We are keeping a positive attitude. It wasn't a NO. Please send some prayers his way.

Off to read today's messages.

Prayers coming your way Hope.

That was so nice of the woman to approach you like that. Every time a person gives us credit for changing their life like that, it makes us warm all over and the memory lingers. How nice.

It rained here earlyl in the morning. Sounded heavy and there are puddles all around. I "think" the sun is still out there!

Good morning Hope. What a lovely moment for you last night. It does make it all worthwhile doesn't it. We had rain again last night. Hopefully, you'll get a chance at the sun today. HAGD. Lynda
